DOI ASSIGNMENT AS ONE OF FACTORS OF RAISING A SCIENTIFIC JOURNAL’S VISIBILITY

The reasons of low citations of published materials are examined. The main conceptual methodical recommendations for increasing the visibility of scientific publications in the international information space are proposed. The relationship between: DOI availability, content presentation on the web resources, usage of the effective cross-referencing mechanism, and increased referencing to scientific publications is described.
