The results of research and development performed by the Institutes of NAS of Ukraine within the State Target Scientific and Technical Program “Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials” (2010-2014) are briefly summarized. 115 subsections of the monograph are grouped into six thematic chapters: physics of nanostructures, technology of semiconductor structures, diagnostics of nanostructures, nanomaterials, nanobiotechnology and nanochemistry. It is shown that the availability of further government support and through creation of a favorable climate for innovation Ukraine will be able to establish its own competitive nanotechnology industry.<\/p>\n
