This is the first in the world of lexicography special etymological dictionary of suffixes. Based on the achievements of modern historical and comparative linguistics the origins of borrowed suffixes and suffixoids of Ukrainian language is covered. A dictionary article contains an interpretation of the registered unit, examples of its use, counterparts in other Slavic languages, then the ways of its borrowing are traced, the etymon, the word building model in the source language, is indicated, the parallels with other Indo-European languages are given and the protoform is reconstructed.<\/div>\n
