More than a thousand names of minerals belongs to discredited species, synonyms of approved species and common names of their varieties. In addition to the name in Ukrainian, English and Russian for each approved specie there are crystal chemical formula, data on the syngony of crystals, belonging to the largest groups, the presence of polymorphic modifications, dates of discovery, redefinition and renaming, name etymology, country information, where the mineral was first found.<\/p>\n<p>For approved species, the abbreviation of the name for use in publications is provided.
