The twelfth annual annotated catalog of book publications of the National Academy of
\nSciences of Ukraine has been traditionally formed based on the annual reports of the scientific
\ninstitutions of NAS of Ukraine and reference copies of books submitted to the Scientific Publishing
\nCouncil of NAS of Ukraine by academic institutions. The catalog includes bibliographic descriptions of books published during 2015 \u2014 scientific monographs, non-periodical collections of
\nscientific works, dictionaries, reference, encyclopedic, popular scientific and educational publications.
\nThe catalog contains 1034 bibliographic descriptions accompanied by annotations in the original language (mostly \u2013 Ukrainian, Russian and English) and translated accordingly to Ukrainian
\nor Russian (English) language.
\nThe descriptions are grouped into 29 thematic sections. The largest section of the catalog is
\n\u00abHistory\u00bb (102 published titles), \u00abEconomics\u00bb (100) and \u00abHistory of Science\u00bb (85). The remaining
\nsections contain from six (\u00abOriental Studies\u00bb) to 82 (\u00abBiology\u00bb) descriptions.
\nThe end of the catalog contains auxiliary indexes: the first \u2013 institutions of the National
\nAcademy of Sciences of Ukraine, whose publications are available in the catalog with the serial
\nnumbers of book publications indicated; the second \u2013 institutions that do not belong to the structure of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, but are involved in the preparation and production of printed works together with academic institutions.
