The path from primitiveness to civilization. Ukrainian garments of the Middle Ages

The processes of the formation of the historical-geographical landscape, socio-political forms, spiritual and cultural-social practices in the borders of modern Ukrainian in pre- and proto-historic times, at the stage of the transition of the prehistoric era: in the period represented by hallmarks of regional-local formats of the early, classical, late (or High) Middle Ages are considered. Significant historical phenomena (Old Russian nation-building, Christianization of Kyivan Rus, experience of contacts with steppe sociopolitical structures, Ukrainian ethnogenesis, etc.), which accumulated in themselves or determined the entire spectrum of evolutionary changes of these eras, were taken as the designated points. The book is addressed to the general readers.
