The modern methodological foundations of a reconstructive vision of the state’s spatial development are substantiated on the basis of a systematic approach, multi-subject management, macro-regional zoning, foresight planning, master planning and sustainable financing, taking into account the quality of life as a leading factor in the reconstructive development of spatial formations, as well as Ukraine’s European integration vector. The authors propose approaches to the organisation of economic activity in the post-war period based on the division of Ukraine’s territory into macro-regional zones for the purpose of spatial reconstruction planning. The logic of scenarios for reconstructive actions, differentiated according to territorial characteristics, is revealed, and the basic organisational, economic and financial mechanisms for the reconstructive development of the state are outlined.
