The monograph is devoted to substantiating theoretical and practical approaches to forming a vision of Ukraine’s European future in the new system of challenges and opportunities created by integration processes into the EU economic, political- and legal context, based on a systematic assessment of the effectiveness of integration into the EU legal framework using several legal categories and principles of law, which are presumed to be the basis for the formation of European values, as well as identifying ways of solutions of problems that prevent prompt elimination of inconsistencies of Ukrainian legislation to the EU law.
The basics of the adaptation of national legislation to EU law are presented. The author identifies the peculiarities of adapting national legislation to EU law by fundamental, sectoral, and functional criteria. The author substantiated scientific and legal approaches to ensuring the sustainable development of Ukraine in the context of national legislation adaptation to EU law.
The ideas and views expressed in the monograph may become the basis for scientific debate, fueling the scientific community’s interest in finding ways to improve the efficiency of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU law.
